Type: Residential
Location: Silver Lake, Washington
Scope of Work: Architecture
Description: While this project is technically a remodel, the only part of the project that was carried over to the new design was the foundation from the existing house. The existing house was a single-story residence with minimal views of the lake from the interior of the house. The new design features a greater connection to the lake from the interior of the house by adding large door and window openings with views of the lake on the east side of the house. A wraparound porch is also a feature element to the design. Additionally, a second floor has been added to the house, increasing the number of bedrooms and play area for the owner’s children.
