Fusion Architecture is a Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area design firm specializing in custom residential, multi-family and small commercial projects. After 11 years of experience in western and eastern Washington, Fusion Architecture was founded out of a passion for working through all stages of the construction process. Fusion Architecture is about working not only with clients through the design process, but also forming good relationships with the contractors and builders we work with to create a positive overall project outcome.
Fusion Architecture is based in Liberty Lake, Washington and provides commercial and residential design services in Washington and Idaho. Having worked for two nationally recognized architecture firms and spent years working in the field with large construction companies on multi-million dollar projects; Fusion Architecture is based on the premise of providing quality design services to its clients, fostering lasting relationships with the construction teams they work with and making a positive impact on the community.
Rex K. Anderson
Principal, AIA, LEED BD+C, NCARB, Ironman
Rex graduated from the University of Idaho with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture in addition to an art minor. Following graduation, Rex spent 8 years working in Seattle, five of those years were spent at MITHUN, where he learned the values of sustainability, integrated design and biophilic design. Following the birth of their first child, Rex and his family moved to eastern Washington, near where he and his wife grew up. Before founding Fusion Architecture in 2013, Rex spent two years working for ALSC in Spokane. In his free time, Rex enjoys spending time with his wife and two amazing daughters. Rex has completed eight 70.3 Ironman races and one full Ironman over the last six years.
Project Architect & Manager, Associate
As Fusion Architecture’s lead project architect and manager, he plays an instrumental role in the technical execution of all of Fusion’s projects and also manages Fusion’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) program. Eric graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture Degree. During Eric’s time at U of I, Eric studied abroad in Rome as well spending his thesis year studying at the U of I Urban Design Center in Boise. Before working at Fusion Architecture, Eric worked for eight years at ALSC Architects in Spokane, where he worked on K-12 school projects, AAEFES projects as well as various other commercial and institutional projects. It was during Eric’s time at ALSC that he gained valuable cost estimating experience and on-site construction experience. In his free time, Eric keeps himself busy, assisting his wife, Hayley in running her business, Pop Balloon Bar. Eric is also an avid outdoorsmen and coin collector. If any of those other activities aren’t keeping Eric busy in his free time, Eric is either remodeling his house or fixing his boat.
Project Designer & Manager, IIDA
A project designer for Fusion Architecture, specializing in interiors, planning, rendering, permitting, and construction administration. Brittani graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Design and a minor in both Construction Management and Anthropology. During Brittani’s time at WSU, she studied abroad in Italy and was awarded Retail Design Institute (RDI), Student Design Competition 2019 Winner. Her retail submission placed her in second place nationally. Since joining Fusion Architecture, Brittani has developed the interior department and created a material library in the office. Prior to her role as project designer, Brittani worked as an interior design lead at Uptic Studios where she learned the importance of the clients experience by better managing and exploring the space available in the proposed environment. She is a dedicated mother and designer with a passion for creating spaces that adapt and celebrate this region we call home.
