Description: Twenty miles North of downtown Spokane, nestled amongst the ponderosa pines with views of the surrounding farmland, this house is characterized by its converging low sloping roofs and extensive use of raw materials, expressed on the interior and exterior. The unique features of this house include a floating tread stair at the entry, the use of gabion rock in a variety of applications as well as post and beam construction at the primary entries to the house.
